The Origin

Introduced from Japan and carefully established in Australia, Kyoho King represents a rare lineage of authentic Japanese Kyoho grapes.

The Journey

The journey began in 2000, led by renowned grape scientist Dr Rod Bonfiglioli, with the introduction of a premium, virus-free Kyoho selection under strict quarantine and scientific protocols. After extensive testing, the original mother vine was successfully planted in Australia in 2003, forming the foundation of Kyoho King today.
